STEP 1
Add the Arbor Impact Calculator to your Shopify Store
In your Shopify store admin panel, at the top of the page, search for “Arbor.” Select “Search for ‘Arbor’ in the Shopify App Store” or click here Arbor Impact Calculator - Shopify app. Then, click the Arbor Impact Calculator App, then click “Add app,” then “Install app.”

STEP 2
Create an account for Arbor
Navigate to app.arbor.eco and create an account. Confirm your account, then navigate to the “Install” tab on the left panel navigation while in the Arbor Dashboard. Once on the install tab, click “Setup” on the “Arbor Shopify App” option.

Add your store website domain to enable showcasing
Arbor will only display impact data on the sites that you allow access to. Add any websites or domains that you want to showcase Arbor's impact estimates on.

Generate your API Key
Click “Generate API Key”. Copy your API Key and go to your Shopify admin panel.
Note: This key allows access to edit and view your accounts' sensitive information and should not be shared with others.

In Shopify, add your generated API Key & sync products
Navigate to the Arbor Impact Calculator by clicking “Apps” on the left panel navigation amd click “Arbor Impact Calculator” under “Installed apps” at the top of the screen. Paste your API Key that you copied earlier. Then, click “Save”. After that, click “Sync Products” to fill the Arbor Dashboard with your Shopify products.

STEP 6
In Shopify, locate your Theme Editor page
In your admin panel of your Shopify Store, under the “Sales channels,” go to “Online Store,” then “Themes,” then “Customize”

In Shopify, select your default Product Page
Once you’ve reached your theme’s editing page, click the dropdown menu located at the top of the page. Then, navigate to “Products” and then to your product page template, this one is labelled “Default product.” Click it.

In Shopify, add the Arbor Showcase Widget to your product template
Once you’ve reached your default product page, under the left-panel, find the category “Product Information”, click “Add Block” and click “Arbor Impact Calculator”. Then, click “Save” in the top right. You may drag it to change its position on the product page to suit your needs.
Note: Arbor will only display if you’ve enabled showcasing in the Arbor Dashboard & your product emissions are less than the category average.

STEP 9
In Shopify, enable App Embeds
Click on the “App Embeds” icon, then click the toggle icon, and it will enable app embeds. This is needed to enable showcasing your product impact.

That's it!
All of your Shopify products will now be imported to the Arbor dashboard on the “Measure” tab so you can see their environmental impact. Arbor’s Showcase Widget will display product impacts on your product pages although, by default, product impact showcasing will be disabled unless you enable it for each product in the Arbor dashboard. You may enable showcasing if your product has less than average emissions.

FAQ
How do I view my product impacts?
Go to the Measure tab on the dashboard and select a category or view all products to see the environmental impact of your products.
How do I enable impact showcasing on a product?
Click on a product and navigate to the Showcase tab within the product editing screen.
How do I customize the Showcase Widget appearance?
Click on the Showcase tab to edit the appearance of all of your showcase widgets on your store.
